We at BONGARD & ASSOCIATES (2002) LTD. are experienced, professional recruiters, committed to excellence in performance as well as results. We provide reliable, efficient service to employers in the food, and food related manufacturing companies, in the following disciplines:

We work with our client to produce a job specification report. This will include detailed information on the company itself, the position and the ideal candidate.

We interview and assess all candidates prior to presenting them to the client.

We only present candidates that match at least 80% of the criteria outlined in the job specification report.

A verbal report of each candidate, which will include:

  1. how the candidate measures up to the job specification report,
  2. reference checks to further gauge credibility, experience, personality traits and communication skills,
  3. what makes this person a good candidate for the position?

Consult with the client to develop a short list of candidates. This will be done by prioritizing the job specification report to get a better understanding of what criteria is more important than others. 

After our client selects a candidate for employment, we furnish follow-up services to help ensure that the hiring process runs smoothly. Should any questions or specific problems arise, we will work with both parties to encourage constructive communication and lasting solutions.

Periodically we interview people that we assess as being HOT these candidates usually possess the education, experience and people skills that our clients require. We profile these individuals on our Hot Candidates information sheet and email it to all our clients.

Following are our current HOT Candidates:

Health and Safety Specialist
This candidate a confident organized professional has been involved in Health and Safety for several years. In his current position he develops and trains supervisors and unionized employees in Safe Work Procedures, evaluates staff in the Return to Work Program and is the liaison with the IAPA and Ministry of Labour inspectors. He currently co-chairs the Joint Health and Safety Committee. This individual is energetic, dedicated, detail oriented and has excellent communication skills. His tier 1 food manufacturing experience includes production and distribution. He is looking for the next step in his career.




Maintenance Co-ordinator
A Maintenance and Systems professional with extensive food processing experience this candidate currently co-ordinates all maintenance activities in a large plant. A committed team player this individual is able to multi-task while keeping focused on overall goals.
During her tenure she has developed and implemented new processes and procedures for
maintenance, purchasing, accounting and floor production teams. She is a conscientious, personable, reliable administrator who is able to meet deadlines. Currently looking for a new challenge.


Product Developer (Intermediate)
A professional food technologist with 10+ years of working knowledge in product development and quality assurance coupled with a positive outlook and a desire to effect change is looking for the next career move. This individual currently employed in an ingredient manufacturing plant as a Research & Development Specialist, manages all phases of new product development from initial concept to launch. Her broad range of products include; chocolate, confectionary, bakery fillings, nutritional blends and release agents. She is able to ensure all development work is documented for SR & ED Tax credits and has the ability to provide technical assistance with regards to nutritional panels, labelling claims and food regulations to customers. This candidate with excellent organizational skills is looking for a challenging position developing food concepts and recipes in a progressive company



Production Supervisor
This production supervisor an accomplished result – driven professional has a Mechanical Engineering degree and several years experience in the food and beverage industries.
This candidate currently employed is responsible for coaching and mentoring staff to follow company standards, scheduling shifts, work station assignments/rotations employee breaks/vacations and schedules/conducts shift meetings.
His tier 1 manufacturing experience includes knowledge of Quality and Safety and has proven to be an asset to his latest employer.
This individual has a thorough understanding of GMP’s, HACCP and has implemented and maintained an effective continuous food safety program. He is about to be downsized and is currently interviewing for a new position.


Quality Assurance Specialist
An organized, analytical and methodical approach would describe this persons’ attitude in the workplace. Currently this individual conducts daily verification of production and process sheets, QA laboratory routines / procedures and product sampling for 3rd party analysis. She is a proven leader with international experience in managing safe food and health safety programs. (GMP, HACCP, SQF, and Six Sigma). This candidate is looking for an organization where her knowledge, academic qualifications and interpersonal skills can be utilized effectively.
